Having in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline or area and providing subject matter expertise across sub-units, you have to work on one project at a time and as a leader and member of the project team(s) or as a part of specialist cross-project team on multiple developments. Also, work on medium and large, moderately complex projects that require increased skill in multiple technical environments and disciplines.

Responsibilities
•    Leads project planning with team members to analyse development requirement, design options, work-break-down and estimates of work.
•    Sets timeframes and schedules to meet customer and business needs.
•    Preparing and presenting status updates for various projects.
•    Working with project teams to define and design scope for each project.
•    Providing design recommendations, developing and integrating programs per written specifications. Occasionally responsible for writing moderate to complex design specifications.
•    Require excellent understanding of business requirement and technical requirements and also software code base. Able to review business requirements and propose solution options and take responsibility for design and delivery within own area of expertise.
•    Provide technical guidance to team members within area of expertise. Reviews work of peers and junior developers.
•    Acts as point of contact for technical issues for a specific workstreams within a project. And also work with technical person to analyse and understand problems with complex software and resolve them.
•    Making moderate to complex modifications to existing software applications and modules in accordance with written specifications and industry standards.
•    Developing software application modules using disciplined software development processes.
•    Unit testing and implementing application modules from multiple systems the team has developed or modified, ensuring application meets needs of client and business.
•    Provides assistance in researching new and emerging technologies. Works with vendors to understand technology. Evaluating new tools, technologies and platforms to be included.
•    Individual contributors provide specialist guidance and advice in particular technical areas, to influence direction or service quality.
•    May have cost responsibility for own team/project, and/or contributes to forecasting budgets and recommending expenditure without being fully accountable for them.
•    Identifies ways to improve the operation of own area and to achieve efficiencies and results.
