Essential Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
• Work closely with current staff in our distributed organization to ensure architectural cohesion and strategic technical alignment.
• Works with stakeholders to gather and validate requirements.
• Test, develop, and standardise technologies, products, tools, and protocols.
• Cleary and concisely communicate, document, and train others on standards.
• Maintain and update documentation functioning as reference / standards / best practice material.
• Provide intensive support for the initial production deployment of new capabilities. Provide ongoing 3rd level escalation support (not on-call rotation).
• Proactively and continuously improve all aspects of the team's operation remit.
• Provide consultancy as an SME in Core / Application Networking to peers and customers.
• Provide resolutions for incidents that have been active past acceptable resolution times.
• Provide conclusive Post Incidence Response responses to service management and business units.
• Work with vendors and internal customers to deliver robust code for the estate and resolve code issues.
• Research, test and validate potential solutions in order to meet requirements generated through strategy.
• Create ad-hoc scripts/tools to perform bulk data analysis.
Job Qualifications
Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related fields.
• 5-10 years experience in network management.
• Expert level subject matter expert (SME) on DNS, network protocols, and design best practices.
• Certified CCNP or CCIE or equivalent certifications would be advantage.
• Strong English communication skills.
• A self-motivated person who is able to work on multiple projects.
• Able to prioritize projects with respect to milestones and deadlines.
• Able to maintain a positive and cooperative attitude in sometimes stressful situations.
• Willing to work as part of a team and share responsibilities when needed.
• Flexible and willing to learn new technologies and applications.
• Able to communicate effectively with internal and external customers possessing a wide range of technical knowledge.
• Thai national or must be legally able to work in Thailand without the company having to obtain a work permit.
