The Time Series team is part of the Content & Customer Experience Business Unit at Thomson Reuters. The team is responsible for developing and  providing a system to convert and manage Markets Feed Data  to  Time Series Data enabling the content  to be retrieved and distributed through our data centers to global clients who subscribe to Thomson Reuters products. The Time Series team utilize web application technology (Data Power, Blue Coat), C++, C#, .Net and collaborate with colleagues in  the US, UK and Beijing, China.

Currently, Thomson Reuters has initiated the Time Series for Common Platform (TSfCP) project that will create a new capability for  centrally hosted Intra-day time series data collection, storage and distribution to serve its clients. This is a large scale and complex project involving several stakeholders including Thomson Reuters's strategic technology partners, key infrastructure development groups and the business divisions. Staff working on the project will have great opportunity to develop and enhance their knowledge and skills, collaborating globally while working in a very dynamic environment.

This position will fulfill the role of Software Engineer in Time Series for Common Platform Project, Bangkok developing Time Series Data Maintenance and bus infrastructure.  The candidate is expected to involve in analysis, design, implement and the software delivery.

Roles and Responsibilities
•    Typically works on one project at a time and as a member of the project team(s) or as part of a team on multiple developments.
•    Scope of work for self only. Works on smaller, minimally complex projects or a particular system or application that requires a singular area of expertise.
•    Works independently within defined parameters, taking ownership of problems within own area of knowledge.
•    Completes the objectives of each assignment (typically project tasks).
•    Developing and integrating applications per written specifications. May be responsible for writing basic design specifications.
•    Translating technical requirements into application code and modules.
•    Developing software application modules using disciplined software development processes.
•    Unit testing and implementing application modules they have developed or modified, ensuring application meets needs of client and business.
